The Ultimate Guide to Finding your Perfect Blonde Hair Colour

The Ultimate Guide to Finding your Perfect Blonde Hair Colour

Having multiple wigs you can alternate between can help you to extend the life span of your wigs, as you are not wearing the same wig everyday.

There is a popular saying "Blondes have more fun", we can definitely agree with this. We think every woman should have a blonde wig in her wig collection, to add that spice and help switch up her looks when she wants to look more 'glamourous'.

However, it can be difficult finding that perfect blonde to suit your skin tone. Truth is, there is a perfect blonde colour to suit everyone, but the key is knowing the right shade of blonde that will look right on you.

Here are some tips to help you pick the right blonde that will really compliment you.

WHAT IS YOUR UNDERTONE?

Your undertone is your underlying colour beneath the surface of your skin. The are primarily 3 types of undertones; cool, warm and neutral undertone.

Cool undertone- pink, red/blush undertones

Warm undertone- yellow, peachy, golden undertones

Neutral undertone- your skin's natural colour is evident.

How to determine your undertone:

#1 Vein test: what colour are your veins?

If your veins appear blue, you are cool toned

If your veins appear green, you are warmed toned

If they appear combined, you are neutral toned

#2 Jewelry test: what looks better against your skin? Gold/ Silver ?

If Silver jewelry looks better against your skin, you are cool toned

If Gold jewelry looks better against your skin, you are warm toned

If both look good, then girl you have the best of both worlds, you are neutral toned
